About our branded paper cups process
Most people don’t need to know the ins and outs of the printing process, so don’t let this info confuse you. Remember, we’re here to help you, but if you’d like to know more… These can be printed using Offset, UV Offset, and Flexography with both CMYK colors and uncoated spot colors. Flexography, UV Offset and Offset is having ink on a rubber plate then the cups get stamped. For Flexography, there’s only one print plate and then it’s transferred to the cups. For Dry Offset and UV Offset, it’s transferred to another stamp prior to going on the cups -- UV Offset means that it dries instantly under UV light. CMYK colors are mixed for each design, thus allowing a large array of color options. Spot coloring are all pre-mixed ink for every color, allowing exact color accuracy, but limiting some colors. All of our ink is the highest quality food grade ink, because of this we can’t achieve every color, but we always have a close substitute color.
